Eyre Peninsula is supported by a vast network of modern and efficient regional infrastructure that underpins a diverse range of growing, innovative industries and businesses throughout the region.
The region has well developed core infrastructure including transport, energy supplies, water, communications, port facilities, industrial land and commercial and residential boating facilities.
Infrastructure investment is the key to ensure that the region maintains its competitive advantage in the export of key commodities and the distribution of products and services across the region.
The Board’s aim is to ensure that the region can compete globally and that infrastructure investment into key strategic assets will continue to maintain that regional competitiveness.
Key future investments in the commercial upgrades of airport terminals, ports and harbour facilities, commercial fishing loading and unloading wharves, broadband communications and new water supplies are essential to underpin the continued growth within the region.
